Finally the Kings of Prog Rock reunite with a 77 minute piece of epic music!!! Flawless musicianship on this CD, these guys still have great chemistry after an 8 year hiatus. BUY IT!! You will be amazed

 Good...but....
There's lots of good stuff here,yet it's off set by lame vocals(nobody can sing in this group) and lyrically gets a little too Christian preachy for me. And not even good Christian lyrics at that. but still worth a listen for the music.

Not Transatlntic... It's a Neal Morse CD!
Not "Transatlntic" music. It's another Neal Morse CD.
Too bad TA couldn't write a new album together... Instead they gave us a Neal Morse album w/ Trewavas, Stolt (who's been on a Neal Morse past release), and of course Portnoy who has been on all the Morse prog releases. Sounds like a Neal Morse CD.
Not even close to the past 2 cds!
A good cd, just not "Transatlantic".
More of the same from Neal.

This CD has everything you ever wanted from the next Transatlantic release. This music has a heavy side and a soft side and the way it all moves from one to the other is simply beautiful. If you're looking for something to expand your musical listening range, this CD will be perfect for you. You will not be disappointed.

Transatlantic drummer and founder Mike Portnoy has been bucking and setting trends since the early '90s by immersing himself in progressive rock at a time when grunge and teen bands ruled. His primary band, Dream Theater, raised the bar for musicianship and complexity while helping to establish the progressive metal genre. Portnoy showed his depth and diversity by forming the critically and commercially successful bands Liquid Tension Experiment and Transatlantic. The latter's SMPTe proved to be a groundbreaking release by reviving the progressive sound of the '70s, while injecting an updated '90s approach. With this release, bandmates Neal Morse of Spock's Beard, Roine Stolt of the Flower Kings, Pete Trewavas of Marillion, and Portnoy continue to push this forgotten genre into newfangled directions. As expected, there is a surfeit of technical wizardry, but there is also an increased focus on rich harmonies, memorable melodies, and recondite lyrics. The lead vocals are shared among the four members in order to avoid the session sounding too much like a Spock's Beard recording, making this release sound more original than its predecessor. All four members offer unique talents, but Morse and Portnoy are the two who raise the band to a higher level. This is where it all opens up and changes. Neal Morse is the former frontman of Spock's Beard, the California prog rock monolith. While not his first solo effort, Testimony it is easily his most compelling and provocative. Testimony is a concept album based around Morse's personal testimonial of his life before and after encountering his center, Jesus Christ.
