2009 release of two rare, collectors albums have been paired up for this special compilation, with bonus tracks coming from an even rarer 10” Decca LP, Stars Of Six-Five Special. In 1957 the BBC launched a new teen TV show, Six-Five Special. Presented by deejay Pete Murray, with the programme’s theme song, played by Don Lang & His Frantic Five. Other regulars on the show included Freddie Mills, alongside Tommy Steele, John Barry, Jim Dale and Terry Wayne. Unlike the soundtrack for the first TWILIGHT film, the release that accompanies the sequel NEW MOON features entirely new, exclusive music. The collection is also much more indie rock-focused, and some of the artists even composed music specifically for the film.
