Get Yer Ya-Ya's Out album for sale by Rolling Stones was released Nov 03, 2009 on the Abkco label. Recorded live at Madison Square Garden, New York, New York on November 27-28, 1969. Returning to the American concert scene after a three-year layoff, the Rolling Stones recorded GET YER YA-YA'S OUT! during a triumphant two-date stand at Madison Square Garden in late November 1969 that found B.B. King and Ike & Tina Turner opening for them. Having amassed an impressive recorded output during their three years away from touring, the Stones peppered their sets with hits, including "Honky Tonk Women," "Jumpin' Jack Flash," and "Street Fighting Man." Tipping their collective hats to Chuck Berry, the band also included covers of "Carol" and "Little Queenie" alongside more blues-influenced numbers such as "Stray Cat Blues" and "Love In Vain." Having been a member of John Mayall's Bluesbreakers, new guitarist Mick Taylor parlayed his experience into some impressive slide guitar work. Get Yer Ya-Ya's Out CD music is a 4-disc set with 32 songs. ...See Full Description

The best live album ever Get Yer Ya-Ya's Out CD music I know-there's some great live albums out there (Who's- Live at Leeds, Frampton Comes Alive, Kiss Alive, etc... ) but the Stones are at their best on this collection. By a reviewer (Tennessee) This review is for a different format.
Excellent re-release of the best live Stones album Get Yer Ya-Ya's Out buy CD music I have an early pressing of the lp and the U. S 1986 CD issue of this album. To my ears the new version obliterates the previous cd and comes close to that of the lp, with no surface noise of course. By a reviewer (Washington, DC) This review is for a different format.
The Stones really get it out! Get Yer Ya-Ya's Out songs Crisp, clear reproduction! Possibly the best version of the stones - ever. Mick Taylor set a high standard of guitar playing that forced Keith Richards to raise his own game to compete. By hendrik (cape town, south africa) This review is for a different format.
hate to burst your bubbles but... Get Yer Ya-Ya's Out album for sale This is one of the most heavily edited "live" lp's ever. It may well have been a studio release with some between song audience chatter. By d.b (florida) This review is for a different format.
Greatest R&R ever recorded! Period. ri Have had this album in it's various forms since it was released. NEVER get tired of listening to it... EVER! Kieth and Mick Taylor combine licks as if connected to the same brain. By Jeff (Bridgeport, CT, USA) This review is for a different format.

Johnny Winter Live Bootleg Series, Vol. 2 CD (2008)
Get Yer Ya-Ya's Out CD music This second volume in Johnny Winter's self-produced Live Bootleg Series is in many ways superior to the first. The reason is simple: Winter relies far more on his electrifying -- sometimes just unbelievable -- guitar-slinging interpretation of the blues as it meets hard rock more than re-interpreting rock tunes for the blues. There are only six tunes here, only one of them under six minutes and the rest ranging from seven to 14 and change. There are absolutely amazing readings of Mose Allison's "Parchman Farm," Robert Johnson's "Crossroads," and Jimi Hendrix's "Red House." The last one is key, because here is one master playing the work of another without being overly reverential. Winter's own "Black Cat Bone" opens the set, and it stands tall with all the other canonical classics here. Like its predecessor, this volume has some small sound issues, but none to keep the listener from hearing the full force of this guitar attack. Just get this and ask questions later. ~ Thom Jurek

Get Yer Ya-Ya's Out buy CD music Still inspired by their STICKY FINGERS recording sessions in Muscle Shoals, Alabama, EXILE ON MAIN STREET found the Rolling Stones sounding more like a Southern fried juke-joint band than ever before. That EXILE was recorded in a basement is no surprise, either--much of it sounds as if it was recorded live at a gospel revival, with a final mix that gives no hierarchy to specific instruments. The result is a swampy, most exhilarating chunk of rock & roll euphoria.
EXILE sharpens the country, blues, and gospel tendencies the Stones began exploring in the late '60s on albums like BEGGAR'S BANQUET. Here, armed with an assortment of backing musicians and vocalists, the band virtually inhabits the spirit of each style, distilling the whole to a ragged, soulful perfection. From the escalating, horn-driven vamps of "Rocks Off" through the back porch singalong "Sweet Virginia" to the mean blues stomp of "Ventilator Blues" and the church-like strains of "Shine a Light," EXILE's double-album length plays like a weary, boozed-up sermon on the very meaning of rock music. This is the closest the band ever came to religion, and it still has the power to convert.

Shine a Light: Original Soundtrack CDs (2008)
Get Yer Ya-Ya's Out songs Several things are clear from watching Martin Scorsese's concert movie SHINE A LIGHT. One is that the Rolling Stones are old. Another is that they're still able to play with a tightness and vigor that stands up to the music being made by most current 20-something outfits. That energy crackles through the 16 tracks on the SHINE A LIGHT soundtrack, the film's sonic counterpart, which captures the Stones at New York City's Beacon Theater in 2006 in surprisingly stripped-down, feral form.
There's nothing flashy or pretentious about the Stones' performance, which helps highlight their unmistakably natural, time-tested ease playing with each other. Even dusty classics like "Jumpin' Jack Flash" and "Brown Sugar" come off with flair, and lesser-played gems like "Faraway Eyes" and "You Got the Silver" are a welcome treat. The guests-the White Stripes' Jack White on "Loving Cup," Buddy Guy on the Muddy Waters' classic "Champagne and Reefer," and Christina Aguilera on a fiery version of "Live With Me"-enliven the band, and provide some of the album's best moments. Given the amount of live Stones' material available, and the band's already towering legend, the necessity of such a set may be debatable, but it's hard not to hear this for what it is: a good rock show from a band that knows its stuff.
