| Polished and strong
Linda Ronstadt continues her rise to fame with 10 cuts, all sharing a strong style — rock with country leanings. Where Silk Purse was spare and direct, Don't Cry Now is filled out with smoother arrangements and plenty of steel guitar.

Linda's pre-stardom recording is a beauty. Her first Lp for WEA and first to chart for a year, peaking at #45 displays why she was not only destined for megastardom, but a wide cult favorite.
