It would be difficult to top the phenomenal success of BRIDGET JONES' DIARY, but the sequel certainly pulls it off. The incomparable Renée Zellweger (JERRY MACGUIRE, COLD MOUNTAIN) once again breathes hilarious life into the flawed heroine who sent her career soaring. This installment of Bridget's journal finds her dealing with the growing pains of a new relationship with Mark Darcy, her crush from the first film (stilted but passionate Colin Firth). Though wildly in love with him, Bridget, a TV producer, worries off and on that Mark and his stuffy attorney crowd may not be quite her cup of tea. When she attends an important law function as Mark's date, she manages to embarrass herself and offend his snobby colleagues. To top it off, Mark's gorgeous and willowy coworker Rebecca (Jacinda Barrett) seems to have a knack for showing up at just the wrong time. When Bridget finally asks Mark outright if he's having an affair with the leggy Rebecca, he refuses to answer. Bridget jets off in a huff, and it appears the relationship is officially on the rocks. To further complicate matters, her cute and caddish former love Daniel Cleaver (Hugh Grant) asks her to join him on-location in Thailand for a TV shoot--another chance at romance for Bridget Jones. Zellweger makes the film completely her own, and provides some quintessential "Bridget" moments--Bridget trying to walk up a flight of stairs in heels, Bridget careening down a mountain on skis, or Bridget tripping on magic mushrooms on a Thai beach. Brilliantly rehashing this unforgettable character, the sequel is a pleasure to watch that easily matches the original.

Kelsey Grammar plays a wayward Navy officer, Tom Dodge, who is notorious throughout the Navy for having responded to a close call involving a Russian submarine by getting drunk and tattooing "welcome aboard" on an unmentionable appendage. He gets assigned by Admiral Winslow (Rip Torn) to command his own submarine; unfortunately, this sub is a rusting 1958 diesel model that the Navy wants to engage in war games to find out if it could inflict any damage. The assumption is, this sub is comparable to those the Russians are selling to renegade Iraqi and Libyan commanders, who might use them on suicide missions against the US. Once on board, we meet the cast of quirky characters who will man this clunker, including a hyper, mutinous Rob Schneider as second in command, Harland Williams as the copulating whale-impersonating radar operater Sonar, and Lauren Holly as the token female officer. The slapstick ensues as this group of underdogs attempt to pull off the impossible, the completion of which will determine Dodge's future career. Standard Screen; Soundtrack English

Kevin Hart riffs on marriage, kids, and the dangers of dating in this hilarious stand-up concert, and still has energy left over to take himself to task for being short. The host of BET's COMIC VIEW: ONE MIC STAND, Hart cracks jokes and tells stories with forceful enthusiasm and brutal, hysterical honesty. He electrifies the audience with a clever, animated style of comedy that cannot be duplicated and brings his audience to tears in this stand-up performance. He's hilarious as he pokes fun at everybody, but he's funniest when he's the brunt of the jokes! Fans who know him as the congenial host of BET's 'Comic View: One Mic Stand' or from his outrageous characters in Soul Plane, The 40-Year-Old Virgin, Scary Movie 3 and 4 and Super Hero Movie will want to see Kevin Hart at his wisecracking best.

TRAILER PARK BOYS is a Canadian television series whose edgy humor and surprising charm has made it an absurdist cult-favorite. Shot in shaky handheld video, the show's mockumentary style works perfectly with the characters of outcasts and derelicts who inhabit a fictionalized trailer park in Nova Scotia. This collection presents the series' entire seven-season run. NTSC/Region 1. 13 DVD box set. Includes the complete series of the cult Canadian TV series. Packaged in a cooler lunch-bag style sack! THE PHILADELPHIA STORY boasts an incredible cast, but it's Katharine Hepburn's picture in more ways than one. Tracy Lord (Hepburn), a Philadelphia heiress, is about to marry coal-company executive George Kittridge (John Howard). The wedding, promising to be the season's premier event, attracts the attention of magazine publisher Sidney Kidd (Henry Daniell), who sees it as an opportunity to break a story. Spy magazine's Dexter Haven (Cary Grant), Lord's ex-husband, is enlisted to "gain access" to the party, along with top scandal writer Macauley Connor (James Stewart, in an Oscar-winning role). However, the reporter is quickly smitten by the bride's charms--and he's not the only one. The film, based on the play by Phillip Barry, was first a Broadway sensation starring Hepburn, who acquired the screen rights, claimed the starring role, and chose the director, screenwriter, and lead cast. In addition to fine work by Grant and Stewart, notable supporting performances are delivered by Ruth Hussey and Virginia Weidler. One of nine films Hepburn made with director George Cukor, it remains one of the classics of their collaboration and of American cinema.
