| Soothing and Sensual Micheal Cretu's music is so beautiful and peaceful. Sadeness was the first Enigma song I ever heard and I was immediatly hooked. I don't like the second half of the song though. The flutes and the Gregorian chanting is so mezmorizing. I wish the album was longer. | New Age enjoyment This is the first Enigma, and I like it..Not as much as their following works; but I like it. It's a mixture of New Age and Gregorian chant and, although I don't have the same feel for it now as I did then, it is still enjoyable to listen to as I do Tai Chi. | Amazing... Enigma's first CD and probably their best. A perfect blend of classical music and modern new-age. Enigma takes us through a voyage of emotion and sexuality that is as deep as it is moving. Simply unparalleled in their genre. By Adi (Toronto, ON, Canada) This review is for a different format. |
| Fabulous to Come Away With Nothing reaches your core like this CD, bringing you back to the natural, spiritual coping center you were born with. You come away from everything obnoxious in everyday reality. And if you can walk across a room hearing one of its rhythmic cuts without your body responding in dance, you're a tree. | Perfect beginning for new collectors If you've just been introduced to the fascinating world of Enigma, welcome! As you can see, there are four albums, the newest album released January 2000! The great thing about Enigma is the mystery of the music itself. Each album features a different style of music, yet the music carries a tune or background that is common to all the albums. Once you collect the albums, the beginning collector will discover that there are literally a myriad of import singles out there, many of which are easy to find, others are very hard to find; and some even I can't find! The point of collecting the singles is not only just to have the different covers, but more importantly for the music. Each single contains remixes of the songs, many of which are much better sounding than the album version. If you need help to begin collecting, feel free to contact me.
