A Classic reissued with style and great sound.
This is one of Hank Mobley's great albums and one of the finest recording of hard bop jazz. The reissue has pictures and liner notes which are usually not done as well and best of all no plastic case! Did I forget to mention the sound? Best sound you can get from a CD.

Soul classic...
Hank Mobley was never given the accolades he deserved in his short life, but this marvellous album vindicates his subtle talents.

correction
Great record! I agree with everything. -but, there are no guest appearances by either Judy Garland or Frank Sinatra, as stated in the track listing (a glitch in cduniverse's usually excellent info?) That would've been pretty, uh, interesting (weird!).

Hank Mobley in the house!
Being a longtime fan of many Blue Note recordings since my teens, i never cease to be amazed at the many hidden treasures they must have in their vaults and Hank Moblet's "Soul Station" is without question, one of them.
