| Quality over quantity. Em brings to the masses yet another masterful set of tracks that once again reminds the world that he is still on top of his game and that he is the undisputed king of rhymes. "Refill" is pretty much what you would expect from a six month follow up to the hard-hitting, disturbing "Relapse." Every track sounds like an extension of previous tracks on Relapse. The song "Buffalo Bill" is an obvious sequel to 3am, while "Music Box" is a continuation of "Stay Wide Awake." However, as great as these 7 tracks are, I couldn't help but feel a bit short changed. When I purchased Relapse 6 months ago after it's release, Eminem made it sound like he was releasing another full length album by Christmas. This was evident in the Steve Berman skit following "Crack A Bottle." So having to pay full album price for 7 new songs and another copy of Relapse seems ludicrous. However, this is one monster of a package for those who do not already own Relapse. The only problem I had with Refill was the first track "Forever." While it may feature some heavy hitting artists such as Lil' Wayne and Kanye West, this track feels wildly out of place with the rest of the album. What's more, Eminem doesn't appear on this song until 5 minutes into it, which is near the very end. Other than that, Relapse/Refill is an outstanding release and should not be missed by anyone who appreciates the fine are of rap and hip-hop the way only Marshall Mathers can craft it.
