Point of Entry CD music During Judas Priest's lengthy and successful career, at certain times the band has tried to crossover to a wider, not strictly headbanging audience. | Solid JP release A very strong release. This was a change in the style of material developed by JP. Some liked it and some didn't. By a reviewer (Dallas, TX, USA) This review is for a different format. |
| great classic cd great music hear its not as good as british steel which has to be 1 of there best albums but its hard to put it in a line up of such masterpieces but the 1 that started it all for me was unleashed in the east and its my all time favotite. this p. o.e. is alot more rock then metal and has some poppy type songs but is still great and showcases robs unique vocals. back in the 82 tour when i saw them they playe d a few cuts off this point of entry and did them excellent. desert plains is what they played. i think that was it off this cd. if you want there best music get stained class and unleashed in the east there great. after this release they go balls deep with screaming for vengeance and defenders which are also killer cd's so many great 1 's well i guess thats why there called kings of metal or metal gods!!!!! | Great Album! Worth buying! This is my second favourite album, British Steel being the first. It is more commercial but most of the songs are still heavy with a lot of hooks. Solar Angels is amazing! I love this album. By Brian (Kingston Ontario Canada) This review is for a different format. |
| welcome to the thunderdome!!!!!!. this sounds like mad max. halford and the gang deliver the goods once again but the problem is that it is not british steel 2. desert plains is a cool song that i wish would be used in an action movie. this is so underrated. after that they went back to the metal because most of point of entry sounds like classic rock than metal. you may think halfor is the male pat benatar but he can wail. he can wail.1981 was a year of underrated records like music from the elder, fair warning and this album. like i said after this album they will explode for screaming dor vengeance but that is another story.5 stars for an album that is lost in the shuffle. .
