Mob Rules album for sale Product Description
Mob Rules album for sale by Black Sabbath was released Apr 05, 2010 on the Sanctuary label. Black Sabbath had put itself back on track both musically and commercially with the 1980 album HEAVEN AND HELL, as the addition of new vocalist Ronnie James Dio was the shot in the arm Sabbath needed. A follow-up was released one year later, MOB RULES, which follows in the same mega-decibel approach as its predecessor. While it is still a vast improvement over Sabbath's final two albums with Ozzy Osbourne (1976's TECHNICAL ECSTASY and 1978's NEVER SAY DIE), it doesn't exactly match the inspired performances and top compositions featured on HEAVEN AND HELL. Mob Rules CD music is a 2-disc set with 25 songs. ...See Full Description

 | wow just with the song voodoo, its awesome, this song sounds like voodoo, what a comeback after heaven and hell, i like turn up the night, but voodoo is the best on here, my opinion, everybody credits ronnie for this, lets not forget who wrote the riffs though, tony is god By halenroth84 (thunder bay, ontario canada) |
| A Must Have! Great Remastering. Buy this for the bonus disc Live At Hammersmith. Great live versions of Heaven And Hell, Country Girl among others. By zerothehero (Sunny Wilkes Barre PA) |
| Necessary I've always been more of an Ozzy fan when it comes to Black Sabbath, but Dio does great work on this album. Just listen to "Sign of the Southern Cross" at high volume. If that's not enough, put on the title track and break stuff. By ewolszcz (Harrisburg, PA, USA) This review is for a different format. |
| Heaven and Hell MKII This is the 2nd lp from the Dio fronted(then)Black Sabbath. Bill Ward had flown the coop during the Heaven and Hell tour, Vinny Appice, brother of Carmine(Vanilla Fudge, Cactus, Blue Murder)fills in nicely. Playing very much in the style of Bill Ward. Geezer's role in lyric writing is diminished but still plays the hell out of his bass and Tony keeps coming up with some memorable riffs. Of course Mr. Dio writes and sings some very memorable lyrics. I remember when this came out, when Fulton, MO still had a metal/rock fm station they would play this back to back with Ozzy's Diary of a Madman when that was released. Quite womething to hear on the radio back then. All in all, Mob Rules is an excellent album, it was then it still is now! Rhino has done a beautiful job of remastering it!
