Alan Parsons: Eye 2 Eye - Live In Madrid movie I have been a fan of the Alan Parsons Project since it's inception. All of those great albums, The Turn of a Friendly Card, Eye in the Sky, Vu;ture Culture, Amonia Avenue to La Guadia. They have delivered in time and time again in the studio. The partnership of Alan & Wolfson came to a close in the late 80's. I was hoping to see them live. They never toured. Pasons was a studio guy,not a performer. During the past several years Parsons started touring for the first time. Now there was hope of either seeing him person or obtainin a DVD of the even. I expected a good performance. Parsons only picks the best musicians and vocalists for his music. There performance was not good on the DVD. It was OUTSTANDING. The only other group that give anyone competition live, is the Moody Blues. I have seen them lve several time. They consistently duplicate their music and vocals at every concert. I have a recent DVD of the Moodies. They still have it. Parsons has matched or bettered the Moodies. He plays all of their major hits. The energy in this DVD can not be duplicated in the studio. Both the sound and video is of the highest quality. This DVD spends a great amount of time in player. Stop. Don't pass go and proceed immediately to your nearest music store and purchase this outstanding and impressive DVD. Alan Parsons has brought to the stage all of his magic, talent and skills and has surrounded himself with an equally gifted set of musicians and vocalists. If you are an APR fan, purchase this DVD now and be ready to be mesmorized by the greatness of Alan Parsons.

| Way Better than we had any right to expect....
considering that AP pretty much was always a studio band with hired hands,hardly ever ,if at all playing live. The band does a great job of staying pretty close to the originals and even though there are none of the old AP stand-bys on this tour,(Ian Bairnson,ect. )they come really good close and true to the way you hear them on the old records. I mean for the most part you can't tell the difference. All these guys are excellent musicians (as you would expect,of course). Not a fancy stage show,but the crowd loved it. If you've ever wanted to see the AP Project live,well this is as good as it gets.
