Hilda Lamas Latina Soul CD (2010)
Greatest Hits album for sale Making history before recording a note, Hilda Lamas became the first blues artist to be signed to Hacienda Records. Her debut CD, Latina Soul was released February 2009. The album is loaded with a blend of soul, blues, rock and R&B. Highlighting this 19 song CD are "Some Kind Of Wonderful" ("Maravilloso") which is presented in bi-lingual format and a soulful re-make of the Etta James classic "Damn Your Eyes". "Touch Me" and "Green Eyes" are two songs exemplifying Hilda's songwriting talent. Hilda co-wrote the first one with R&B performer Bigg Freeze, and the second features the talents of rapper Mr. Mike. "La Plaga," "Que Guapo Estas" and a special Janis Joplin tribute entitled "Cry Baby/Piece of My Heart" stand out as fan favorites.
Born in 1983, Hilda's first solo performance was at the tender age of 4, in a Baptist Church in her hometown of Aransas Pass, Texas. She continued singing at many social events through her youth and teen years. While attending Texas A & M University, Hilda majored in music and studied voice with famed vocal coach Flicka Rahn. During her college years, Hilda performed recitals not only as a vocalist, but also on piano and flute.
In 2002, Hilda auditioned and was hired as vocalist for a Corpus Christi blues band known as Phive, it was in those years that Hilda began to grow as a performer and was introduced to music as a profession. Her bubbly personality has made her a favorite in public circles, and Hilda also became a favorite to open sporting events with the singing of our National Anthem. As one who is always willing to perform at charities and benefits, Hilda has shared the stage with such national talents as Jay Leno and Clint Black. These benefits have helped raise substantial funds for worth causes of all kinds.
In May 2006, Hilda and her band performed on South Texas longest running TV show Domingo-Live, and had the honor of opening for Latin Grammy Winner Little Joe y La Familia. Closing 2006 in true Hilda fashion, Hilda was nominated for her very first award for "Best New Female Tejano Artist".
2007 was exciting as Hilda was booked as the opening act for the world premiere of "Flower Power", and her 2nd award nomination, this time for "Rising Female Star" at the 2007 Tejano Music Industry Awards. Making her second appearance on "Domingo Live" in March, Hilda Kicked off 2008 with her first 1 on the Mindviz Latin Charts with "Touch Me", her collaboration with "The Bigg Freeze".
Following the release of "Latina Soul", Hilda entered into an agreement with Strictly Bizz Entertainment, best known for their instrumental role in the career of rap artist Mr. Mike, and filming began on season one of Hilda's original web series "On The Road With Hilda Lamas". The series follows Hilda around south Texas at various venues and locations and gives fans a chance to see Hilda beyond the glitz and glamour of the stage. Season one of the series is scheduled to be released on dvd August 18, 2009, and filming for season two of the series will begin later this year with Latina Soul Entertainment. September was truly memorable as Hilda was asked to perform The Star-Spangled Banner for Texas Governor Rick Perry at "A State Of The State Address" held at The American Bank Center. At the end of the month Hilda was then asked to perform for the Annual Veterans Summit with special guest Congressman Solomon Ortiz. October brought Hilda her first magazine feature in "Crosstown Beats", a new online magazine.
We are currently booking Hilda Lamas for 2009 and 2010. She is available for venues of all sizes, including but not limited to: Sporting events, large concert halls, Fundraisers, small clubs, private parties, and weddings. ...

Lauren Bateman I've Been Waiting CD (2010)
Greatest Hits CD music Between playing the local Boston and New York music scene, Lauren jumped into the studio this fall with producer Andy Bauer of Turnt Out Media to record her life's work, a candid collection of ten songs spanning the last 6 years. The record has already received recognition with the title track "I've Been Waiting" included on the upcoming "Many Roads Home" compilation CD, as well as, Guardian Angel receaiving national and international radio recognition.
The oldest song on the album, Linger, was written in the fall of 2003 after the end of a long distance relationship: "It was a really tough time for me being my first relationship. It was actually the first song I wrote that I thought sounded good." Other songs like Burning Bridges, a touching acoustic testament to moving on from your past, and Civil Again, a grooving pop song about being civil with the one's you once loved, will move listeners with Lauren's ability to lyrically portray life.
The most heart-wrenching and deeply emotional song on the album is Guardian Angel, a song that Lauren wrote for her aunt that passed away from pancreatic cancer in April of 2009. The violin and cello develop a sorrow that transpires into an uplifting crescendo in the chorus. "I just wanted her to know that we would never forget her and that she would always be in our hearts. It's a very personal song and it touches so many people. I usually always see at least one person crying in the audience whenever I play that song. Everyone knows someone that's died of cancer and it's never an easy thing."
Lauren shows her edgier side on songs like I Gave and Everything's OK, which have more of a rock feel to them. The musings of lead guitarist, Julie Perron, gives these tracks real drive while the melodic and rhythmic stylings of bassist Richard Gentile can be heard on songs like Beautful Face.
Even with its darker moments, I've Been Waiting has an overall pleasant and optimistic feel to it, a departure from Lauren's original writing. Songs like Beautiful Face, Happy Ever After, Impossible and the title track are catchy tunes with great beats and an uplifting feel: "I laughed that my first album turned out to be this overall happy project. I had told Andy [the producer] that if this album had been done 3 years ago it probably would have been an emo album."
"I've Been Waiting" is by no means a dark or depressing album and appropriately titled, as it is the culmination of all Lauren's hard work so far in life. "There are not very many things I want in life. I wanted to record an album and be able to create and share my music with people. I wanted to be happy and I wanted be in love. And after years and years of waiting and many ups and down, I finally got what I was looking for."

Sir Rip Clarion Seasons: Spring Edition CD (2010)
Greatest Hits buy CD music The earthly ministry of Jesus Christ was a testament to His being the very God of all creation. This was the reason for an ever increasing hostility and conspiracy against His life. Jesus was challenged to prove His authority to make such claims and do such shocking things to the shame of a corrupt system of corrupt people. Though He had already done many miraculous feats to affirm His sovereign authenticity, He was repeatedly challenged by authorities to perform another convincing miracle. To one such challenge, Jesus replied to His challengers, "Destroy this temple, I'll raise it up in 3 days." We are told in Scripture that Jesus was answering that challenge by assuring He would personally resurrect Himself from the dead after His accusers would put Him to open shame, suffering, and death. One cannot say and do this unless He is truly God. At the climax of the Gospel accounts, we have documented evidence that Jesus did just what He said He would do; He came out of the tomb and presented Himself to a great number of witnesses. He was alive, healed and restored to a newness that we, who fully trust and believe in Him, can look forward to now and forever. Jesus Christ is the very essence and object of the resurrection; He is eternal, and in Him is everything necessary for life in any and every sense. To demonstrate His authenticity before his own death, burial, and resurrection, Jesus Christ raised a man named Lazarus back to life in the very presence of his own grieving family and friends, though he was already 4 days dead and buried. The witnesses perhaps understood there would be a future resurrection of the dead, but they had no idea that the resurrection was more about a Person than it was about an event. The very object and nature of the resurrection was right there in their presence. That person is Jesus Christ. He is the resurrection. He brings the healing and restoration to those who will believe on Him. And the final enemy to be destroyed, the enemy of God and all who trust in Him is death. Do you believe this?
One of the saddest realities faced by people in life is the death and loss of a loved one. Few things can and perhaps should be said at such times; these are very sobering and extremely sensitive moments. But one the most shocking things to emerge from tragedy and loss is the apparent anger and turning away from God; a blaming and implied betrayal on His part, as though He has no concern with how we feel. But God is a God of compassion; He does care, and He offers hope. He has told us in His Word, and continues to tell us that He is a God of compassion, and that we should have our hope in Him at all times, even during the most challenging times. Life can amount to a sad song during many stages of life, but a glorious day will come when we will meet with God, be with Him forever, and with those who have gone ahead of us to be with Him, having trusted in Him for eternal life by grace, through faith in Jesus Christ. So, in the face of tragedy God would not have us to turn away from Him in disappointment, but to look to Him in total trust and expectancy of a perfect outcome, because he is a perfect, holy, and righteous God who always does what is right, even when we can't comprehend. After all, it is a priceless and cherished matter to God when one of His dearly beloved children, who His Son Jesus Christ died for, is through with earthly service and ushered into His very presence to be with Him for a never-ending eternity. In the long run, being in God's presence will cancel out every sense of negativity and despair; death, sorrow, crying, and pain will have no place in His perfect presence. Lord, bring that glory day, because we'll meet again on that glorious day!
