Will smith ruined the classic i grew up with by putting his talentless son in a role that he could not relate to.

Better then expected.
For a remake movie this was a pretty good change. Jaden smith did well expecially with showing emotion of having to move to a new place away from everything he is used to.

this movie was very good! but they need to stop repeating the same episodes, just different people and mr meagi would have been a better person for jackie chan role! but judge it for your self!

Great modern movie
The old Karate Kid movies in the 80s were better, but this movie is really good and I enjoyed it. It puts a modern style flare to it and with the proper actors as Jackie Chan it's enjoyable!
