| Expanded version of Dragontown If you are an Alice Cooper fan and do not have Dragontown this is a must have. The expanded version is worth your money. If you already own the ordinary version you must consider the expense. Dragontown in general is in style with Brutal Planet but somewhat more easy to consume. | special edition is a smash this is a truly great cd. from start to finish it is a solid cd. songs such as deeper portray aice's vision we are spiraling downward. fantasy world he sings about the attack on male masculinity. the bonus cd is great, also. i like the song the ballad of dwight fry (live) and clowns will eat me the best. this cd is a worthy cosideration, even if your not an alice cooper fan. | The most evil place on Brutal Planet This album is one of Alice's most unique works in my opinion. it's not as hard as Brutal Planet but the slow ballads pack a pure evil, and sleezy punch to there sound and lyrics. The opening track Triggerman is a great track that puts you back in the feel of the previous album. but it doesnt prepare you for what the rest of the album has in store. alot of people find Deeper a filler track, but I rather resemble it to the "Da Da" song which slowly drags you down into the depth of the story of the album. Everything in Dragontown is corrupt and Dark. The underground of stripclubs, Slutty Nuns, Jungles with roaming Devils, A leader who want to be god, the mysterious life of the Sentinal. and even a man who lives in the dark shadow of Elvis Presley down in Disgraceland. The place is so evil that even pure souls who die there will automaticly be banished to hell. One badass of A finish to the Temptation Trilogy! I just wish he released a live album of it... even in the dirty diamond tour he never played any of the Dragontown songs. =( By totallyrage (Holland) This review is for a different format. |
