Still inspired by their STICKY FINGERS recording sessions in Muscle Shoals, Alabama, EXILE ON MAIN STREET found the Rolling Stones sounding more like a Southern fried juke-joint band than ever before. That EXILE was recorded in a basement is no surprise, either--much of it sounds as if it was recorded live at a gospel revival, with a final mix that gives no hierarchy to specific instruments. If you like this album you should like the extra material in this package. I personally love "Exile" so I rate this a 5 star buy.

Amazing raw spontaneous energy
A great snapshot of the Stones going face to face with their own self imposed demons. No group would ever attempt diving so low to reach such heights. Only The Stones could pull this off....

Rock 'n' Roll The way it's meant to be!
What can I say? The Stones have made so many great albums and this is certainly one of them. There are songs on this album that can't be touched by another band, and I mean 'any' other band. There's more soul and grit here then most bands can muster in a whole career. Give The Stones their due, they are unique, vibrant, and sustaining.

I really Love Exile on Main Street I have to say it is the best Rock N Roll Record ever made The Rolling Stones have mad so many many great records for so many years I never brought a Deluxe CD before but The Original Album of Exile did not have bonus Tracks on it if u have already have Exile then u should Buy the Deluxe Edition and get the Bonus Tracks I really love This CD Please buy it
