This three-pack from the Echo Bridge Home Entertainment label presents a trilogy of films tied into WWII-era bombings - a feature and two documentaries. It begins with the 1995 made-for-television epic HIROSHIMA, a 3 1/2 -hour account of the U.S. bombing of Hiroshima in August 1945, and the events that led up to it. Directed by Roger Spottiswoode (UNDER FIRE), it stars Kenneth Welsh as Harry S. Truman, Timothy West as Winston Churchill and Naohiko Umewaka as Emperor Hirohito. The package also includes DECEMBER 7TH, a documentary by John Ford and Gregg Toland on the events leading up to Pearl Harbor (December 7, 1941) and RECOGNITION OF THE JAPANESE ZERO, an unusual training film on mid-air airplane differentiation, starring Ronald Reagan.
