Stone Temple Pilots album for sale Product Description
Stone Temple Pilots album for sale by Stone Temple Pilots was released May 25, 2010 on the Atlantic (Label) label. Stone Temple Pilots' 2010 reunion album isn't a song deep before Scott Weiland alludes to his checkered chemical past by singing "even when we used to take drugs," which may not be a confession -- the singer took great pains to claim he was writing in third person for this, the sixth STP album -- but it's easy to read between the lines, particularly when the song title invites you to do so. ...See Full Description

| Excellent album but is it them? I really liked all of the songs on this album they had catchy melody and they were well writen. I thought every song was a zinger, however it was really hard to realize that this is stp. Some songs have that old stp feel like "dare if you dare" but mostly it doesn't sound like them at all. It's okay if a band changes their album sound from others but this is quite A LOT of change. Some will hate it, some will love it, and some will have to adjust to the new sound overall WOW!!! | Great This album is great! It has much more of a classic rock / country sound than previous works of theirs, but that only makes it more interesting. I'd strongly recommend this album. By Tim (Richmond Hill, GA, USA) This review is for a different format. |
| Welcome Back! Make no mistake about it: STP scored big with this album. This is the best thing they've done since 1996's "Tiny Music...", in my opinion. With the way music sucks so badly nowadays, it's really monstrously awesome to hear a band that actually plays its own instruments, sings without Autopitch or computer effects, and doesn't put a phony danceable techno sheen on everything they do. I've been really down for the last few years about the way rock and roll has been destroyed by "American Idol", utter laziness, corporatism, greed, and a complete lack of talent on the part of modern "artists". They're nothing but scummy businessmen, and worthless copycats hitching a ride on the backs of the real artists of the past 50 years. However, hearing this this new STP album gave me great hope for the future of real music. Thank God for this album. Buy it. Now. By Mac (New York, NY) This review is for a different format. |
