i heard this album in ec's concert whit phil collins and it's realy one of the best albums that i have ever heard. it is also one of the best of eric clapton tunes and melodies.

| It only has one good song!
"Miss you" is the only good song on this awful album; the rest of the tracks are abysmal. There's very little rock and no blues at all. It can hardly even be called a 'Clapton album' considering its absence of any blues or rock. It's just boring pop songs or ballads all the way through - real elevator music! My advice is to buy the "Crossroads" boxed set - that one's the best Clapton compilation of them all and that way you can get "Miss you" - which really is a fantastic song in its own right, unlike the other tracks on this terrible album.

| beautiful album but...
I went on a waiting list for this partticular album to be made and transfered to CD. However when they recreated this the best version of Layla was wiped out to be replaced with Grand Illusion. Still luv it but they kind of wrecked the album for me.
