Mark gets back to his roots with Get Lucky.
Get Lucky buy CD music A much more natural follow up to the wonderful Ragpicker's Dream CD as Knopfler gets back to a folky/rootsy sound that's not as dusty as Ragpicker's Dream but is an excellent forerunner for Privateering. There's no barn burners on this disc. Just excellent mid tempo pot boilers with a few dashes of fiddle, strings, whistle and flute tossed in so that the songs seamlessly travel from northern England to the Wild West. Absolutely Amazing.

Wonderfully Refreshing Intricate Body of Work
Get Lucky songs Mark Knopfler is as subtle as he is talented; as with many amazing albums one must give this one a few listens. It is filled with treasures well worth discovering. Difficult to believe how much this great artist has continued to evolve. Question is; have his fans? Still enjoy all the Dire Straits material and continue to respect that wonderful phase in Knopler's career; only now there is such a wealth of truly amazing music to once again enjoy and discover. Yes to echo the sentiment expressed by Mark from the Slovak Republic' 'God Bless you Mark Knopfler....

di mestiere
dal primo ascolto sono un p� deluso. Bel lavoro, ma poco "ispirato" Un bell'esercizio di mestiere del grande Mark. Bello ma non sconvolgente, un ottimo sottofondo.P.S. trovo bruttissima e stonata la grafica.P.S.S. � solo il primo ascolto.

Usual Mark
At this point, I've only listened to the cd once and it is nice but terribly predictable and maybe too consistently mellow. It would be nice if he gave rock a chance or just something with a bit more energy.
