Imagine a melting pot. The ingredients are: two clarinets, guitars, and percussion. The herbs derive from oriental music, Italian folk, and contemporary Jazz- with some additional flavours from Klezmer, Swing, and Classical. This sounds pretty basic. After having released two records in 2000 and 2004, the band Impression comes back with new colors as Flu(o) : an improvised and energetic jazz that loves to get rid of labels. Air circulation and acoustic stream, minimalism and density, the music of Flu(o) is written, electric, rhythmic. It is also improvised, rock, urban. Music in motion, which rubs some alternative and arranged pop, a nervous and sophisticated rock . Fluid, it highlights the individuality with sound combinations and superpositions. Flu(o) is a dark and lyrical body, that becomes bright under the outside light and reveals steep reliefs and wide open spaces.
