| Give it a shot The first time I listened to this all the way through, I was not sure if I liked it or not. However I have now listed to it 5 or 6 times and I like it better every time I listen. I am a huge Joe Bonamassa fan and I am glad he is getting a chance to show others just how talented he is that may have never heard of him. | Great Album Actually most of the so called supergroups fail, this is not the case, IMHO the positive point is that BCC sounds like a group playing direct Rock and Roll not too pretencious. The only thing I do not like is the production, the sound is little messy and drown By Carlos E (Mexico City) This review is for a different format. |
| New Super group liked it after i listened to it a couple times great blues rock would of liked Jake E Lee at lead guitar better than Joe Bonamassa though. some songs are a little drone sounding By zeppelin1969 (Indianapolis,IN) This review is for a different format. |
| Could have been a five First Glenn's vocals are the star of the show truely one of the great rock vocalists of all time. Jason is superb as usual and Derek adds some tasteful keyboard work. The weak point is Joe's guitar work, he is not a hard rock guitarist after the third or fourth song all his leads sound the same. Sadly he brings the songs down. I thing this band with someone like John Sykes on guitar would have made it classic and worthy of five stars. By Tommy (Boulder, CO, USA) This review is for a different format. |
| Black Country is Bright I fell in love with this group from the first listen. Glen Hughes has grown as a singer. I was fond of his work on Black Sabbath "Seventh Star" but thank you Glen. Jason Bonham is as awesome a drummer as his father. I am ashamed to say I had never heard of Joe Bonamassa. But I am a new fan of Joe's talent. If you love the blues of Led Zeppelin or the oringinality of Wolfmother, Come join the fan club and buy this album. I promise you will not be disappointed. A fond rewind to the 1970's original blues rock. By nacjr777 (Tallahassee, FL) This review is for a different format. |

Cannibal Corpse Bleeding Vinyl LP (1994)
Black Country Communion songs Original Cannibal Corpse vocalist Chris Barnes would depart from the legendary Buffalo death/gore metal group he founded after 1994's THE BLEEDING; fittingly, he helped to create one of the most lurid and lyrically extreme albums of its kind as a final act of membership. Songs like "She Was Asking For It" and "F*cked with a Knife" are every bit as difficult to swallow as they are musically intense, and this reissue fleshes out the instrumentation and production to violently forceful ends.
All lyrics written by Chris Barnes.
Recorded at Morrisound Recording, Tampa, Florida from November 12 to December 3, 1993.
Cannibal Corpse: Chris Barnes (vocals); Jack Owen, Bob Barrett (guitar); Alex Webster (bass); Paul Mazurkiewicz (drums).
