| very good album to purchase
This band has a very unique music style, and a great enchanting vocalist. This album and Angels Fall First are my (2) preferred albums of the band to date. I have the bands basic (4) albums waiting for the new release. All are good, every track-which is rare. Can't go wrong.

| The best album!!!
To me, Oceanborn is by far the best album from Nightwish. It has everything and Tarja's voice at her best. It's incredible how the band improved from one album to this one. A must have!!!

| What's to hate?
This album is better than their debut, and is as good as Century Child. Almost every track makes you want to hit the previous button. Even though I'd prefer Century Child over this, I'd still say that they're equal in greatness because this contains my all-time favorite song. The Pharaoh Sails To Orion. That's the best song Nightwish has ever released. If you really don't like it, go jump. .

| Huge improvement from Angels Fall First
In a year, Nightwish had already improved. Almost all the songs are awesome. However, this is much more operatic than any other one of their albums. This can be either good or bad, it depends on the listener. Personally I hate opera but, in some songs, it was really fitting. The only song I hated was Passion & The Opera, the reason being that the last part was too operatic. Besides that, the rest of the songs are all great. Highlights are Stargazers, Devil & The Deep Dark Ocean, Sleeping Sun (the hidden track), and the 6-minute awesomeness; The Pharaoh Sails To Orion. Still, as awesome as the album is, I still prefer Once or Century Child over it.
