Product Description
Like Jeff Beck before him, Slash is a superstar guitarist who can't sing a lick -- a situation that poses a considerable problem when it comes time to record a solo album, which apparently is whenever his band collapses under the preening ego of a lead singer. When combing through the wreckage of GNR he decided to form a band whose singer almost seemed like an afterthought, but he took a different route after the meltdown of Velvet Revolver, choosing to follow Santana's Supernatural blueprint, hauling in a different singer for each track. ...See Full Description

Good but not Great As a longtime Slash fan, this is an excellent way to (re)start his solo career after the meltdown of Velvet Revolver. By B. Santos (Tampa, FL) This review is for a different format.
BAD THEY'RE NOT GOOD VOCALIST, THIS CD IS A WASTE OF MONEY, BUY INTO SOMEONE GOOD. I'D RATHER BUY POP & TRIBUTE. By steffitwain (POMPTON LAKES) This review is for a different format.
Amazing This is by far the most insane hard rock album in this decade i´ve ever heard By pcnovak (Mexico) This review is for a different format.
The "real" Slash is Back!!! It`s hard to find a new way after being part of such an unfluential rock band as Guns`N' Roses, Slash being one of the best heavy rock guitarist of all time, I think he finally found his path the "Santana way" writing outstanding songs and blistering guitar riffs collaborating with great singers in the industry!!! Excellent Rock album! A must have for the upcoming summer!! Boost it up for a Road trip!!! By Yannick DG (Montreal,QC) This review is for a different format.
Slashed! Better than I expected, Slash's new solo album is a decent album with all kinds of guest and artist. The collaborations make an incredible synergy that undeniably good. By sleez_boy (Bakersfield, CA, USA) This review is for a different format.

Rush Clockwork Angels CD (2012) Top Seller
Clockwork Angels has been a long time coming. Rush foreshadowed it in 2010 by releasing "BU2B," and "Caravan" to radio. The next single, "Headlong Flight," didn't appear until 2012. Co-produced with Nick Raskulinecz (who also worked on 2007's Snakes & Arrows), Clockwork Angels is a return to the concept album by the band that perfected it on 2112 in 1976. It centers on a loose narrative about a young man following his dreams. He struggles with inner and outer forces of order and chaos; he encounters an expansive world where colors, images, territories, and characters are embodied by pirates, strange carnivals, rabble-rousing anarchists, and lost cities. His enemy is the Watchmaker, a ruthless authoritarian presence who attempts ...

Ozzy Osbourne Scream CD (2010)
Ozzy Osbourne's tenth studio album was originally called Soul Sucka before fans shut the working title down. The resulting Scream may not win any awards for brain cell power as far as titles go, but the 11 tracks contained within find the Prince of Darkness in fine form. People who only know the metal legend from watching him mumble and baby step around his house in sunglasses and a track suit on reality television can hardly be blamed for steering away from his music, but it only takes one chorus of opener "Let It Die" to suggest otherwise. Like 1980's Blizzard of Ozz (Randy Rhoads), 1983's Bark at the Moon (Jake E. Lee), and 1988's No Rest for the Wicked ...

Like Jeff Beck before him, * is a superstar guitarist who can't sing a lick -- a situation that poses a considerable problem when it comes time to record a solo album, which apparently is whenever his band collapses under the preening ego of a lead singer. When combing through the wreckage of GNR he decided to form a band whose singer almost seemed like an afterthought, but he took a different route after the meltdown of Velvet Revolver, choosing to follow Santana's Supernatural blueprint, hauling in a different singer for each track. Of course, Supernatural was designed with the intention of having Santana cross over to a new audience, but *, with the exception of Fergie howling "Beautiful Dangerous,"...

Slash's Snakepit It's Five O'Clock Somewhere CD (1995)
*'s Snakepit is Guns N' Roses with a different bass player and singer, which means Guns N' Roses without its resident punk-rock fan and its hyper-dramatic rock-epic voice. Which leaves a classic two-guitar hard-rock band, steeped in Southern boogie and fronted, appropriately, by a singer whose role models are such '70s gravel-mouths-with-soul as Rod Stewart and Paul Rodgers. This is a classic-rock homagerie, a proudly unoriginal band that can coil around a classic riff as quickly and dangerously as snakes around prey. On "Dime Store Rock," they're the ghosts of ZZ Top; on the compact "I Hate Everybody (But You)" they're a monument to melodic hard-rock guitar; and on "Beggars & Hangers-On" they're the lost Southern rock balladeers that the...
