It grows on you....
I must admit I didn't like the first listen - it didn't jump out and grab me as most of his earlier work did and still does, but I don't think this album is meant to do that.

This is an outstanding album with Joe at his best!.... Dream Song is one of his best ever, thoroughly enjoyed this effort, truly one of the great guitarists ever!... ... ....

Still good
I've probably reached my 6th play of this new offering. Can Joe keep producing new material that holds your interest? Yes! Possibly his most varied to date, with tracks including a delicate piano solo.

I've been a Satriani fan since 1988. He has so many tones on this album. And so much heavy guitar. It's so cool.

Black Swans and Wormhole Wizards is a big disappointment. There are only 3 good performances on the entire CD. The rest are just racket and repetition designed to get your $$.
