Celtic Thunder Christmas album by Celtic Thunder was released Oct 12, 2010 on the Decca label. Irish vocal pop sextet Celtic Thunder (Damien McGinty, Keith Harkin, Ryan Kelly, Paul Byrom, George Donaldson, and Neil Byrne) traded in the slick, pop/rock covers of 2009's Take Me Home for slick yuletide cheer on 2010's cleverly titled Celtic Thunder Christmas. The collection is well stocked with warm, familiar holiday jams like "It's Beginning to Look a Lot like Christmas," "Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow," "Winter Wonderland," and "Silent Night," along with a pair of Phil Coulter originals ("Our First Christmas Together" and "Christmas Morning Donegal"), and the Christmas truce ballad "Christmas 1915," the latter of which appeared on 2008's Act Two. ~ James Christopher Monger Composer: Phil Coulter. I Expected Better
Actually, I am disappointed in this CD. It is a nice collection of Christmas songs but nothing spectacular. I was expecting better. Their first CD was their best. This one is, at best, average.

Ready for the Season
I found Celtic Thunder Christmas absolutely wonderful. I, unfortunately, have yet to find a Christmas album that I truly would rank five stars without reservation, because I always find myself saying, "They should have done this song," Celtic Thunder's holiday release is still a joy to listen to, and will be played around my family home throughout this coming Christmas season!
