not based on Abel Ferrara's song bad lietenant this movie was not based on a song by abel ferrara the song bad lieutenant was put in after copyright infringement by schooly D a rapper who borrowed part of a led zeppelin song and his record company didn't license it and it appeared more than a few times in the movie after legal wrangling between schooled and led zeppelin it was taken out and replaced by a song written by abel ferrara and recorded live on a walkman in a bar. this is my favorite movie of all time Werner Herzogs comes nowhere near it two words buy it now make that three words By sponge_6 (Bellflower,CA) This review is for a different format.
