| Underappreciated
EWF's amazing career has been so well documented, it's hard to believe they could actually have an underappreciated offering. A year and half before 'Faces', they released "I AM' which, though a big commercial success with 'Boogie Wonderland' & 'After The Is Gone', was seen as a sell-out and most fans didn't like David Foster's over polished production. 'Faces' was the double lp smash return to classic EWF stylings. The production and vocal work is among the best in music history and at least 7 of their all time best are here: 'Back On The Road', 'You Went Away', 'You', 'Pride', 'Sparkle', 'Take It To The Sky' and my personal favorite-'Win Or Lose'. 'Faces' is a most own, period!
