| Sounds better than ever
Has certainly withstood the test of time and the addition of the bonus tracks enhances it's value. Certainly proof that not all reissues, bonus material, etc are throwaways or marketing tools to insure greater record sales. This one is the real deal and thanks to Columbia's Legacy department for releasing such a diamond. Is that still a great cover or what?

| Second Winter: end of an era
I've always loved this album. It has so much to offer, and yet there is a lot of continuity from song to song with Fast Live Rider as a sort of Voodoo Child (slight return. I love the bonus tracks but they are quite different to the flow of what was released. The live concert at the Albert Hall is historical. Over the years I heard many tapes from 1969 concerts. This must be the last recording with Uncle John and Tommy Shannon. It makes me long for an official release of Johnný entire Woodstock performance.

| Worth it just for the bonus LIVE CD.
I already have the "Second Winter" CD and got this purely for the additional LIVE CD (which i was actually present at all those yrs ago). The bonus CD is beyond words.The sound is clear, Johnny's tone is immaculate. Together with the album "JW & Live" it's proof of some of the finest Blues guitar ever played.

| Buy the remix
The remix has an Albert Hall (London) concert on it as well - this doesn't. I think maybe one or two more tracks on the first disk as well. Fantastic stuff. The remix is amazing.

| Second Winter need I say more!
If you don't have this one in your Johnny Winter collection you are missing out big time. It's definitely one of his greatest releases ever!
