Slider album for sale by T Rex was released Oct 25, 2010 on the Fat Possum label. The 1997 reissue of THE SLIDER features 3 additional tracks that did not appear on the original release; "Cadillac," "Thunderwing" and "Lady." Although 1971's ELECTRIC WARRIOR was the first album on which all the pieces finally came together for marc Bolan and T. Rex, the follow-up, THE SLIDER was Bolan's masterpiece. one of the best cd's ever
I first bought the lp at age 12,,,all I can say is that it changed my life forever. because of this lp, Marc led me into music and a way of life... when I hear this cd, it always brings me back to the first time I heard it and still marvel at the sound and wonder where it was all coming from,,,live on forever Marc.

This is the album after Electric Warrior which had the hit Bang A Gong. though three or four songs received FM radio play when first released, there were no actual hits.
