| Perfect example of math metal
Both Breathing Is, and Solace are great albums. No major guitar solos probably cuz the music is hard enough to play as is. Great drum work! If you like this band you will like a band called The End. Their styles are exactly alike. All hail math metal!

| OUCH!!
This album is like being sliced open and having lemons and salt being rubbed into the wounds. This is the most technically heavy cd I have had the pleasure of listening to. These guys are a mixture of the dillinger escape plan and the riffage of meshuggah. Pure insanity. Hightlights are the bud dwyer effect, binary pt 2, oceanic motion, and a regular dose of azure. All the songs are exellent in their own way. Pick this up if your a die hard DEP or meshuggah fan. MATH METAL!!\m/

| this is ok...
I got this at the height of my math metal fetish, and at first I thought the pure chaos of it was really awesome, but ion dissonance puts technical ability way before song writing. these guys defenitely have some chops, and the drummer could give flo mournier a run for his money for sure... but some of the riffs are really sloppy and kind of pointless. whenever these guys are firing on all cylinders though watch the F*ck out... I still dont enjoy this very much though, even though ill admit the musicianship is impressive, the songwriting sucks. and some of the lyrics sound kind of stupid because they are in broken english. get the ends within dividia instead of this album, but watch out for these guys when they show some growth.
