I actully ordered this CD for my boyfriend he had the album a long time ago so I got it for him. But i have enjoyed listening to it as well. It's a great album. And I have to compliment CD Universe, this particular CD was out of stock and they kept me well informed with emails letting me know the status of my order.

Some like it hot, I like it Red!
"Red" and "Rock & Roll Weekend" alone are worth the price of the album. There's good power ballads in "Catch The Wind", "Free Money", and "Little Star/Eclipse". "Cruisin And Boozin", "Hungry", "The Pits", and "Love Has Found Me" are all good rock songs. The only song I could do without is "Fillmore Shuffle". Lots of quality, and very little that sucks.

An Awesome Sammy Hagar Album!! (****)
RED- ****3/4 Excellent song, hard rocker, and my second favorite Hagar song of all time. CATCH THE WIND- **3/4 Good power ballad with some strange lyrics. CRUISIN AND BOOZIN'- **3/4 Above average song with some suprising use of the acoustic guitar. FREE MONEY- *** Slow song for the first half, but then it gets faster. ROCK N'ROLL WEEKEND- ****1/4 Excellent song with awesome guitar work. FILLMORE SHUFFLE- *1/2 The only song that I would consider dead weight. HUNGRY- ***1/2 Very good song, too bad it's barely over three minutes long. THE PITS- ***1/4 Questionable lyrics, but still sounds pretty good. LOVE HAS FOUND ME- *** Nothing bad, but nothing awesome either. LITTLE STAR/ECLIPSE- ***1/2 Very good power ballad, and very long at over six minutes in length.
