| Still Relevant (sadly)
Tapestry songs This album by Don McClean is a must-have for those who appreciate well-crafted social commentary in their rock and folk music. It is sobering to realize that the issues about which Don McClean wrote 30 years ago are still with us, still wanting for attention and resolution. Don McClean's guitar playing is skilled, tender or tough as the song requires. His voice is similarly skilled, soft and sad or angry and anguished. You will not be able to listen to this album and remain unmoved.

Totally agree with each and every word and sentiment pertaining to Don McLean highly ignored first album. I do own 2 copies on vinyl and sooner or later will pick up the CD though I must admit I wish it had been released by anyone else than BGO... do not appreciate the mastering on most of their product. Oh, and thank you sincerely L.A. .
