good album with drum icon
Good songs , good musicianship. Songs are solid and not overdone musically. Carmine Appice (A rock drum legend) shows how to play solid rock N roll without over playing. Great listening!

One of the hairband of the 80`s
King Kobra was one of those "hairbands" from LA during the great 80`s. Their drummer was ex- Vanilla Fudge-member, legendary Carmine Appice and the brother of Dio-drummer Vinnie and Johnny Rod, ex-Wasp-member played bass. This album is full of great hard rock tunes, like title track Ready To Strike and a little hit called Hunger from which they also did the video. I think the production is rather good and if you like hard rock or "hair rock" this album is the worth of buying.

Awesome CD
King Kobra is one of the most underrated bands of the 80s metal scene. Every song on their first album rocks, especially 'Hunger'.

power of the eighties
great singing great production great playing. hooks a plenty, just excellent party rock. the melodies, guitar riffs, outstanding. if you like good fun hard rock music with class pick this cd up . CHEERS MILLARMAN
