John Mayer Live
This is a great CD. You will get 2 CD's of John Mayer, live and in concert. The sound and songs are awesome. My 7 year old neice is hooked. This CD is 5 star.

a good presentation of a young talent
I heard his cover of I Don't Need No Doctor on a Ray harles Tribute album and I knew this was a talented performer. I didn't like his philosophising about "Life" given that he's a ripe old 30 but this cd is well worth the purchase. I hope Mayer stayus around for many years and continues to mature.

This CD set appeals to all
Where The Light Is: John Mayer Live In Los Angeles songs If you like John Mayer for his songs and or his guitar playing, then you'll like his live 2-CD set. "Where The Light Is Live In Los Angeles." The first part of the first CD has John soloing on an acoustic guitar singing songs from past CDs. He does justice when playing Tom Petty's "Free Fallin." The second part features the John Mayer Trio which has become instrumentally tight. Among my favorites are two covers from Jimi Hendrix's "Bold As Love" CD and the first song the trio does. "Everyday I Have The Blues." The second disc is with his band playing his "hits." My favorites are "Gravity" and "Why Georgia." He also does a decent cover of Humble Pie's "I Don't Need No Doctor." Overall, I found the CD set to be entertaining!
