Good, but not for Bruce.
This would be a good album for almost almost any band in the rock genre, but not for Bruce. The sound of the #1 rocker of all time sounds too distorted and modern and not enough like the E-Street Band. "Living In The Future" sounds like Bon Jovi, "Your Own Worst Enemy" like the late 60s Beatles. I like "I'll Work for Your Love" and the hidden, unannounced track #12 is the best song on the CD. If your looking for another "The River", "Born in the USA", "Born to Run", "Darkness on the Edge of Town", or even "The Rising" - forget it. If your like me and want all Springsteen's studio CDs, go ahead and get it.

The Boss Is Back In Town
This is not only the best rock album of 2007, but one of the best rock albums of the past five years. From top to bottom, the Boss has discovered his acoustic rock magic no one has heard since "Born To Run" Simply Outstanding.

WHAT HAPPNED?
I FOUND THE WORDS AND MUSIC WERE TYPICAL SPRINGSTEEN. WHAT I DID NOT LIKE WAS THE SOUND MIX THE QUALITY WAS NOT AS GOOD AS IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN. OTHER WISE IT WAS A GOOD ALBUM.

Springsteen's Return to Rock-faced Romance
Ladies & Gentlemen, it is not Born to Run, it is not Nebraska, Darkness, or The River. I don't want to compare this record to the absolute Classics of the past. This is a great great album of familiar tunes, played well, produced heavily and supposed to be read-well while listened loud!!!! My god, I have broken the speakers just by boosting out the energy of the songs. The lyrics are sharp and witty. And this record is the best thing I have heard this year. And trust me, I hear a lot!!!!
