best early eagles
this is a good eagles album primarily because it is not dominated by don henley and his often sappy ballads. instead the country rock talents of randy meisener, don felder, and bernie leadon are showcased a bit more, which makes most of this album great.

Worth crossing the border for!
The Eagles' third disc shows them to be in fine form. It gets off to a rousing start with the squealing guitars of "Already Gone." A sensual feel takes over in "You Never Cry Like a Lover," with a great lead vocal by Don Henley.

Actually quite good!
Somehow i feel this is an overlooked gem. It is actually quite good. A lot of good songs you wont find on any of the greatest hits or collections.

Great rock
This is my favorite eagles album. It has a heavier rock beat then the earlier albums. Don Felder really was a good addition to the band.

ON THE BORDER
THE BEST THING ABOUT THIS CD IS YOU DON'T HAVE TO FLIP IT OVER, AND IT PLAYS AND FLOWS GREAT. EVERY SONG ON THIS ALBUM IS GREAT.
