The best of both worlds: oldie-style and new-style stuff
This is one heck of an album to listen to. Not only is it jazzy, but it is laced with synth effects, pop rhythms and melodies, and long instrumentals, it also uses the vocoder on at least two tracks (Kelly Watch The Stars, New Star In The Sky). It makes for an album that is calm and relaxing, but so engaging that you can't keep your mind off of it. You'll find that you were playing it in the car, in your music player at home, on your ipod, and more, and you can't figure out how it got there. In any case, it is one heck of a smooth ride, from the opening instrumental "La Femme d'Argent" to the plodding "Sexy Boy" to the almost lyrical folksiness of "All I Need" to the nostalgic "Remember" and the banging "Kelly Watch The Stars", there are tons of interesting details and emotions that pass through you when you listen to this album. It's a modern classic, and not because it's modern. It has roots in jazz, almost classical, and pop music, combining them all effortlessly into what could be called a completely new genre. It's a classic that is the little electronica album that could.

Relaxing
Moon Safari is a relaxing and beautiful CD which just calms you down after a long day. La Femme d'Argent, All I Need, Talisman, You Make It Easy, New Star In The Sky and Le Voyage de Penelope ca help you rest, while Sexy Boy, Kelly Watch The Stars and Remember have vibrant beats that you can dance to - or sit back and enjoy lazily.

Impresionante
El disco debut de este grupo franc�s es realmente bueno. Los efectos espaciales de "Sexy boy" son divertidos. "Kelly watch the stars!" es largamente la mejor canci�n: tiene voces alteradas y una melod�a futurista que la hacen un cl�sico. "All I need" y "You make it easy" son baladas interesantes. Sin embargo, el disco se vuelve repetitivo y pierde la novedad en las tres �ltimas canciones. A�n as�, es bastante bueno.
