Unbelievable!
Melanie's debut album "Northern Star" is the best album that I have heard in a very long time. I was drawn to her mesmerizing voice, but I was very surprised by the overall quality of the album. Each song has a different sound and can connect with the listener on several different levels. Highlights of the album include "Northern Star", "I Turn to You", "Feel the Sun", "Never Be the Same Again", and "Why". I have had this album for quite some time and it has always been in my CD player as I hardly listen to anything else. I was not disappointed at all in this album and I would be willing to bet that there are many others that would agree with me on this one. Congratulations Melanie, I can't wait for the next one!

One of the best adult pop album ever created
There is no doubt that Northern Star is among the best adult rock&roll - pop/rock albums ever created. If you don't know Melanie C then you missed a BIG part of golden music. NEVER think she's still the sporty spice, becouse with this album shes REAL.

extrodinary
melanie c is extrodinary she has one of the best voices in the world her talent is rivaled only by celine dion' whitney houston and amy lee of evanescence she is a really unique vocalist and my fave song is feel the sun

Simply stunning.
A fantastic album and one of the best in my collection, 7 years after it's original release. Spawning 2 number singles in the UK this album has been the launchpad for Mel's succesful solo career. Northern Star is everyhing an album should be. Go and get it. You will be suprised.
