Eclectic collection a winner for Tull newcomers.
Through the years provides an excellent cross section of Jethro Tull songs gleened from their 30 years of performing. Each song on this collection is an excellent example of Tull in their various stages of development through their long career. Primarily featuring songs not normally heard on FM "top 40" or "classic rock" radio, Songs like "Warchild", "Dharma for One" and "Still Loving You Tonight" provide new insights to listeners who might only know Tulls greatest Hits. Old classics like "Living In The Past" and "Locomotive Breath" are presented in Live versions that give new life to these familiar tunes. Also included are favorites of die hard Tull fans like "Beastie", the masterpiece "Budapest" and "Rare & Precious Chain" from their most recent CD. If you like Jethro Tull, but can't afford to purchase every CD in their vast catalog, this is a wonderful collection of songs from slightly off the beaten track; A wonderful suplement to the greatest hits CD you probably already own.
