| LONG LIVE OZZY!! At first try i was not so impressed. After some time (a month) gave it second try - man, it rocks!! Very good. Especially at high volume. God bless Ozzy!! By bolan95 (St.Petersburg, Russia) This review is for a different format. |
| Another Great Comeback!!!! I wasn't thinking to much on Ozzy's new release, but after hearing the album, I was blown away on every song. This album rocks and Ozzy still has it. A must buy. By henry_rocco (Miami, FL, USA) This review is for a different format. |
| Keep on Rockin', Ozzy! This album rocks steady from beginning to end, and that's just the way I like it. There is no filler here in my opinion, each and every song is pretty much rock solid. I was so impressed by it all that I will say that Scream is probably Ozzy's best album in over a decade. I really do think that it is that good, and I enjoyed Ozzy's last CD Black Rain very much. The new guy, Gus G., is a really great guitarist and adds some fresh new blood to the Ozzy sound on this release. Zakk is great also and of course will be missed, but fear not, he has a new Black Label Society album coming out soon and from the sounds of the song Parade of the Dead, it sounds pretty good so far. There's not much more to add except to say that if you liked Ozzy's last few albums, it's pretty safe to say that you will probably enjoy this one as well. Keep on Rockin', Ozzy! I love you, Man! Standout Tracks are: Let it Die, Let Me Hear You Scream, Soul Sucker, Life Won't Wait, Diggin' Me Down, Fearless, I Want it More. | the madman still got it i dont really understand why alot of these reviews people dont like this disc, maybe its because some of them are zack wylde fans and are upset hes no longer in the band, or the fact that gus g's guitar playing dont grab your attention like ozzy,s past guiatarist .or for some reason people dont like the music on here i dont know, but anyway to each his own. peoples opinion differ.i like this disc .i found the more i listened to it the more i liked it.as previous mentioned the guitar playing dont jump out at you like ozzy's previous axeman but all in all its somewhere between ok and good.theres not a bad track on here.every song is good.i think some people like to compare an artist recent work with that of their best and in most cases the newer stuff dont come close.ozzy,s probably never gonna have another blizzard or madman but every thing he puts out is still good. | OZZY RETURNS To be honest, i thought ozzy lost his edge over the years. But this album is excellent. His vocal sound very good on this album, as well as the lyrics. His new guitarist Gus G, really adds aggressiveness to this album, being that he has been with Dream Evil and Firewind. Overall very good album, highly recommend.
