| One of the best (so far)
This is Ry at his best. "Simple" music, but brought in the best quality ever. The line up is as great as the man deserves. The result is here. Sublime!

A folk rock album this good deserves to have it's album cover displayed instead of "image not availabe". This album is a great homage to the dust bowl era folkies. Kudos to Mr. Cooder for this wonderful album.

| My name is Woody, er, Buddy.
Without recycling the blues, Cooder does a neat take off on Guthrie, Seeger, the fictional Tom Joad et al on this musically adventureous and delightful folk tinged album. Thanks Ry for your great sense of humor, writing skills, playing, and singing. Kudos also to the great supporting players and for the great album packaging.

what a line up!! terry evans bobby king flaco jimenez jim keltner, just to name a few...now look at the result..17 new titles on one album and only a few are good.cooder is a wonderful guitarplayer but I can't hear him play.am I deaf or did he sold his guitar for a good price.Ry...you ain't my buddy anymore.
