| Absolutly stunning
wonderful music wonderful songs wonderful soul. Anita Baker hit big with this cd after departing with her band of Chapter 8. She's obviously much better as a solo act. I love every song on this album, except "Watch Your Step." But everything else is stunning!

| Impeccable!
This is the R&B "songstress" in what is arguably her greatest recording ever. This is the one that put Anita Baker on the map. The only song that isn't perfection here is the very last one. Other than that this is play-through affair. Her delivery and heart felt lyrics are just as timeless now as they were back in 1986. This is easily one of the greatest albums of all time from any artist and any type of music. A true landmark and must have to and R&B aficionado.

i listened to ever song on rapture and i just kept playing over and over again i wish anita baker more success in the next album she produces and success in her life.

| The best album ever recorded !
I'm just crazy of this album. This is the best CD of the 80's. Anita is wonderfull.
