Simply beautiful
this is one of the most elegant, heartwrenching, emotion filled, mind blowing albums ever. it completely changed my life. we all know van is the man, but this album rises above all the rest and could be argued one of the greatest albums of all time. get it, however you can, just get it. and listen.

Hands down
Hands down the all time sweetest thing ever...Nothing can touch this album, each track is better than the last. A true classic, a true gem!! Comes from the soul, from the heart. No song can compare to "Sweet Thing".

I wish I could give it 50 stars!
Without doubt, the finest record ever made. Persevere thru initial listenings and you will be richly rewarded. Wonderful musicianship, wonderful songs, wonderful vibe. It's difficult to comprehend how a so-young Morrison could produce such a developed, timeless and mature classic. Honestly, do yourself a favour - get this. Listen to Madame George, Sweet Thing, Slim Slow Slider etc etc - you'll thank me later. (incidentally, I'm amongst those not certain if The Way Young Lovers Do fits the overall vibe .... great song though). ESSENTIAL.

All-time classic-best album ever made
After a less inspiring first side, Astral Weeks is truly the best album ever made. I am not a great Van Morrison fan and I am fully aware of the injustice of white artists stealing from black music. Nevertheless, no musician has ever surpassed Madame George.
