| The worst record ever made... See headline...I've wasted enough time By mparish (Hell, Listening to This) This review is for a different format. |
| Ehh Of the 'weird four', I probably like Zipper Catches Skin the least. Regardless, it's miles ahead of the bonehead material that Alice would be doing with Kip Winger and Arthur Kane after it's release. If you get a chance pick up Special Forces or DADA. Much better both lyrically, and in the quality of the songs. By cletusjenkins (Seattle) This review is for a different format. |
| Cooper's most fun and clever disc!! There is only one song that i don't like in this CD, that being "Make that Money." Cooper's lyrics are extremely clever and fun at the same time. Anyone who wants to have fun and rock out at the same time should buy this album. It has given me songs to sing in my head in math class and songs to blast before work. | Forgotten, Then and Now This album, along with Alice Cooper's other overly maligned early 80s output sold so little in the USA that the cds are only in print in Europe. While Zipper Catches Skin will never be remembered as classic Alice Cooper it does deserve a listen. The lyrics could have used a little more work but the melodies are fairly catchy and there is some nifty guitar work. Too bad Bob Ezrin wasn't on board to produce, which would have made a big difference. Still this cd is an entertaining listen. Maybe more so now than back in 1982. By T.J. (Tulsa, OK) This review is for a different format. |
| Worst Alice Album I thought this was the worst Alice Album ever made, it had no story to it, the songs weren't really any good but I did kind of like "No Baloney Homosapiens" so I give this a one. By Ryder Wells (Florida, Usa) This review is for a different format. |
