| No elfs dancing around Stone Henge-props needed
Utterly beautiful, early folk- jazz- rock, more on the jazz tip by far than, say Fairport Convention. Think along the lines of Mark Almond Band minus the sax or percussive element and you're pretty much there. Superb remastering, too. For any aficionado of this genre, buy immediately.

| Overlooked Classic
While I'm the first to admit that Pentangle's sound is not for everyone [acoustic folk-rock with a heavy blues and/or jazz fusion], this is by far their finest album and I'm surprised that I'm the first to write a review on it. It's still fresh sounding, ground breaking and varied in musical styles. I defy anyone to listen to this album without wanting to play it over again. It's just that good.
