| Biowared has done it again Dragon Age: Origins review An excellent addition to the ps3 rpg library. Hours of gameplay and multiple choices throughout the game will keep anyone busy for awhile. Bioware has created unforgettable characters and storyline yet again. If you liked KotOR or Jade Empire, give this one a try. By JJ (Kuopio, FI) This review is for a different format. |
| One of the greatest RPG games I've played Dragon Age: Origins XB360 I'm not surprised at how famous this game got since it's one of the best of its genre. Dragon Age: Origins game Great story, nice dialogues with great sense of humor and huge map with lots of sidequests made this an unforgettable experience. Dragon Age: Origins cheats I spent hours (more than 100) just playing completely immersed in its universe. It kind of reminds me of the first time I played Baldur's Gate. THE BEST What I liked most was the possibility of interactions between the player and the other characters - and the epic dialogues between them are VERY amusing as well. I just laugh everytime I remember some of them. Besides the nice characters interaction, this game gives you chance to build deep relationships with some party members that will actually change the outcome later in the game. Well that's what one should expect from a RPG, right? I'm just glad they didn't screw this up. The music is superb, amazing. The voice work is amazing as well. I love the voices, very well done. THE WORST I think the game should give the player more options during dialogues, since there are many times you can't simply ask obvious questions everyone would like to (and that in fact would make much more sense at that point than picking any of the other sarcastic options available). Also you should be able to debate with your party members and use your persuasion or approval to get more fulfilling information from them. The dialogues just run out too quickly. Many times I found that frustrating since I couldn't get some basic info I needed just to understand the story, specially with the cryptic Morrigan. So I guess they could have given much more information during the game, specially considering this story is very rich and complex. During the game, I frequently found myself seeking information on the Dragon Age wikia just to understand it better. At first I thought that they were withholding information just to make the sequel more interesting, but I was disappointed to see they didn't explore many of these open questions in Dragon Age II or any of the DLC released. --BTW they shouldn't have cut so many important scenes from the final game, like the Pre-Dark Ritual scene, which can be restored using mod only on the PC version. --- Also the gameplay could be better during fighting scenes. They are very repetitive at some point but not to ruin the game. Not at all. When you are immersed in the story you won't mind anything else. This game is still one the best I've played and I would love to play something like that again. And I do hope to see more of this story explored on Dragon Age 3 (So I might finally get some closure).
