Wow - to those that dissed this album - wtf
are thinking? VH - VHII and Fair Warning are the best that they have ever done and honestly, VHII can be put up against anything any other band has done and it will blow them away.

Go VH!!!
D.O.A. is one of the hottest rock songs ever!!! This album is the natural follow up to the debut! I always get mixed up because I think DOA is on THAT album....anyway, VH is THE band!!!

Pretty hot!!
A difficult task to follow up the critically acclaimed VHI....but they did it. EVH's incredible guitar work, Roth's almost audible swagger and the pounding rythym section of Alex and Mike - a classic album!! Went downhill a little after this, until the classic '1984'.

Great But Not A Classic
In 1979, Van Halen faced an almighty task in following up a massively successful and critically-lauded debut album. While it failed to match the genius of its predecessor, this album has top class tunes like 'You're No Good', 'Dance the night away', 'Light up the sky', 'DOA' and the brilliant, flamenco-flavoured 'Spanish Fly'. It's not without filler, as they were partying hard back then, so we'll forgive them for that. Standout track for me has to 'Beautiful Girls', cracking solo and hilarious lyrics. A great VH release.

Their Best
This album just kicks your a$$ upside down from start to finish. Somebody Get Me a Doctor could possibly contain the greatest rock riff every played.
