| Best sword and shield movie ever.
i've been watching this movie since i was 11 or younger. i just finished it again since it was on hbo. i am now 21. the story is great and it was directed perfectly. i decided to do a search on the director John Boorman, which brought me to this site, now i plan on watching a movie called Zardoz that he directed. if it's only half as good as excaliber then ill be watching it repeatedly.

| Sureal,Healthy,Calm,Love,Feeling,Honor & The Rest
A film of greatness is hard to find these day's.Sure you can have your Lord Of The Rings but it's just not the same. I find the headline i have above come's from a personal inlook to this film.I felt amazing when King Arthur Sail's onward this moment is so dam sureal it send's tingles down my spine.Or when The Sword Excalibur rize's for the first time the lake shown is so healthy and wild but calm much like my very own suroundings.Richard Wagner was genius a man who could express so much within the film the funeral march is stalking & vibrant and show's color in the most natural of place's anyway this review has become far to philosophical enjoy John Boormans Excalibur it's stunning....KALEDONIOI2004

| Damn Good Movie
Everything...and I stress, everything was great about this movie. The classical music was damn stupendeous. The acting was damn stupendous, the cimetography was damn stupendous. The special effects was damn stupendous. This was one DAMN good moive. As you noticed there are other movies dipicting King Arthur such as Richard Gere's "First Knight" and other movies. I will tell NONE OF THEM TOP EXCALIBUR. Excalibur is a movie that was taken from a cover of a high quality Fantasy novel and put into a film adaption. It is a great movie, that I can't even describe how great it is. Get this movie and I bet you, you won't regret it.

| Ah, the days of old, when knights were bold!

I have seen this movie on video tape and to see it in hd was a total & exciting new and different experiance the dvd came quick enough and was of good quality I am most satisfied with this and would buy from cd-universe again no question.
