| My best war film
Not to many words here, just one of the best war films ever made. Saving private Ryan might of had a great start, but this is the real deal and explains the battle itself.

| Ok Ok - good but not GRREAT
Saw this flick when just a teenager and was very impressed by it. Almost 20 years later i will say it is a good war movie but to rate it with 5 stars with thes classics in mind is not serious: Guns of Navarone, Eagle has landed, Platoon, etc.

| Lee Marvin!!!
The addition of the extra minutes, scenes makes this movie much better than the theatrical release. Lee Marvin adds to the quality of the movie.
