Okay, so we may not see our fiesty, she-boppin red head as a "serious contender" but lets's call a spade a spade and just admit it, our gal has the pipes and the soul to pull this off very nicely. Way to go Cyndi. I can't get through this record without pulling out my harmonica and jammin with her. Thanks Luv!

I LOVE this CD. This girl can sing the blues! Been a fan of Cyndi's since the beginning, this is definitely her best.

cannot go on enough to tell how great this CD is, cyndi lauper did good. she sounds fantastic, the music, band, choice of songs are top notch. this is mature, serious, blues and the backing band delivers. finally a fresh new CD by a classic act. she should be proud because this was a successful approach to blues

| It's Definitely Lauper
I wasn't expecting the next great definitive blues album from Cyndi Lauper, but you know what? It's not bad. She's backed by solid performers and she's obviously enthusiastic about the material, I only wish she'd found a way to incorporate more of her smoother vocals a la the "Body Acoustic" CD. Maybe she should take another stab at the blues and see what she comes up with.
